Annual Convoy

Our Annual Convoy is one of the major highlights of our year. Every August Bank Holiday Sunday our incredible volunteers take hundreds of disabled and disadvantaged children in the truck cabs from Norwich to Pleasurewood Hills

Making Convoy day Special

80+ Trucks

A Convoy of 80+ Trucks takes to the road every year to give disadvantaged and disabled children a special day out.

Every truck and it's driver volunteer their time to take part in the convoy and give the "special cargo" an amazing day out!

Supporting Vehicles

In addition to the trucks there is an additional 20+ vehicles that support us on convoy day, including emergency services vehicles, coaches & recovery vehicles.

The day would not be possible without the support of Norfolk & Suffolk Constabulary who ensure the safety of everyone involved.

Support along the route

The day is made special by you the public coming out to line the streets and wave the convoy along!

Nothing brings more smiles to the children's faces then seeing the huge crowds out to wave them past on convoy day

Great Yarmouth Seafront

A highlight of convoy day every year is Great Yarmouths Golden Mile. Thousands of people come out to line the seafront and wave the convoy by. Drivers, children and families all comment on how special a moment this is throughout every convoy.

Throughout convoy day we also have a number of trucks parked in front of Joyland as well as our fully equipped trailer which hosts a number of special guests throughout the day including, singers, dancers and other entertainers.

You can also find our merchandise and tombola stand along the seafront all day too, continuing our fundraising efforts for all our special events.
