Holiday Home Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all holiday stays provided by East Coast Truckers Children’s Charity (Registered Charity Number 1082023).

By applying for and accepting a holiday break, you agree to comply with the terms set out below.
1. About Us
East Coast Truckers Children’s Charity provides free holiday breaks for eligible children and their families as part of our charitable support work. Holidays are offered as a privilege, not a right, and are subject to availability and eligibility criteria.

2. Eligibility

Only children registered on our database are eligible to apply for a holiday.

The registered child must be one of the occupants during the holiday stay.

Families may accompany the child:

The caravan sleeps up to 6 people
-
The chalet sleeps up to 4 people
-

Holidays are prioritised for:
-
Children newly added to the database
-
Children in their final eligible year
-
Children who have not previously had a holiday
-

While it may be possible to receive more than one holiday in a year, this is unlikely and not guaranteed.
3. Application & Allocation

All holidays must be applied for via the online application form on our website.

Holidays are allocated based on:

Availability
-
Individual circumstances
-
Flexibility with preferred dates
-

Greater date flexibility may improve the likelihood of a successful application.

The charity’s decision regarding holiday allocation is final.
4. Length & Timing of Stay
-
Holidays are for 7 nights, running Saturday to Saturday.

Holiday homes are available March to October only, in line with park opening dates.
-
Parents and carers are responsible for any decisions regarding school attendance, including taking children out of school. The charity accepts no responsibility in this regard.
5. Costs & What’s Included

Holidays are provided free of charge, subject to a £50 security deposit.

The security deposit will be returned after the stay, provided there is:

No damage
-
No breakages
-
The property is left in a reasonable condition

Entertainment passes are included with the holiday.

Families are responsible for:
-
Their own food and drink
-
Travel to and from the holiday park
-
Any on-site activities, restaurants, arcades, or services that incur additional charges and are not covered by entertainment passes

6. Behaviour & Use of the Holiday Home

Guests must treat the holiday home with care and respect.

Any damage or excessive cleaning required may result in loss of the security deposit.

Smoking is not permitted inside the holiday homes.

Pets are not permitted.
7. Responsibility & Supervision

Parents and carers are responsible for:

The supervision of children at all times

Their personal belongings
-

East Coast Truckers Children’s Charity is not responsible for:

Third-party facilities
-
On-site entertainment
-
Activities provided by the holiday park or external providers

8. Cancellations & Non-Attendance

If a family can no longer attend their allocated holiday, they must notify the charity as soon as possible.

Failure to attend without notice may affect eligibility for future holidays.
9. Changes or Termination of Stay

The charity reserves the right to withdraw or terminate a holiday if:

These Terms & Conditions are breached

Behaviour is deemed unsafe, inappropriate, or disrespectful

In such cases, the charity’s decision will be final.
10. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting an application and accepting a holiday, applicants confirm they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. The most current version will always be available on our website.
