East Coast Truckers Convoy to return through Filby Village

Back by popular demand the 38th Childrens Convoy on Sunday August 24th 2025 is making their return journey back through Filby once again this year.

After being diverted due to an incident on the Acle Straight in 2024, the Convoy had to pass through the villages of Filby, Fleggburgh & Billockby on their return journey. A trip that proved so popular the Parish Councilors of Filby contacted us shortly after to ask if we could make the return journey through the Village again for the 2025 convoy.

We're so pleased to announce that with the support of the Norfolk Constabulary and the Highways Agency, this has been made possible and we will once again be making our return journey from Pleasurewood Hills back through Filby, Fleggburgh & Billockby.

The convoy will make their return journey as usual back through Great Yarmouth Seafront, but rather than heading out of Great Yarmouth on the Acle straight they will take the A1064 back to Postwick Park & Ride.

A number of East Coast Trucker members and volunteers will be walking through Filby with collection buckets on Convoy day and any donations are greatly appreciated to help with the running costs of the convoy each year.
